Not a review of the new Christopher Nolan film, we don’t have a spare 3 hours to go the Cinema!
We do however have the time to taste our way through some epic Greek wines.. and with the weather the way it is, these are the perfect wines for now!

Akriotou Saviatano 2022
‘Saviatano’ from 60 year old low yielding vines, this is aged on the lees for 18 months, bottled unfiltered & unfined this is a cracker,
a wildly expressive and complex wine, full of lemon, honeysuckle, peach, melon and buttery aromas. Textured and creamy, with concentrated layers of citrus fruit, wet stone, nuances of bread and a delicious honey note through to a long, intense finish.

Mercouri Kallisto 2025
Mercouri is a family-run winery located in Greece’s Peloponnese region—near the site of Ancient Olympia. This lovely expression shows notes of ripe pear and lemon cream. Nice texture on the palate followed by a lingering freshness on the finish.

Ktima Dio Ipsis, Dialogos White 2025
Elegant and beautifully balanced, with intense and expressive aromas of lemon blossom, quince, citrus notes and a touch of lime. Light and precise with lovely texture and bright freshness underpinned by delicious minerality through to a mouthwatering finish.

Ktimi Dio Ipsis, Red 2025
A blend of Syrah & Agiorgitiko, perfumed aromas of violet and sweet cedar envelop notes of ripe berries and cherry fruit. The luscious palate offers soft tannins and an abundance of wild berried fruit, olives and dark chocolate through to a lasting finish. Bbq lamb anyone.
