Reboule at Chesters, with Claire Thevenot
Oct 21, 2025
Thursday 13th November, 7pm
As you may have seen on socials, Lloyd has been on a whistle stop tour of the Rhone over the past few days. After a 7am flight into Geneva on Sunday, 700km of driving, 8 producer visits and back out from Marseille at 11pm on Tuesday, he is back and feeling inspired!
Reboule du Rhône is the Rhône’s equivalent to Beaujolais Day, celebrating the end of harvest and we have decided do it here in Abergavenny with a fantastic Rhone inspired feast and awesome wines to boot!
After visiting the likes of Abrigeon, Gaulthier, Julien Cecillon, Domaine Creve Coeur and Domaine Mayard, these will make up the wines that feature by the glass on the eve. (Email to follow with more about these amazing producers)
To make the evening even more special, we will be joined by our dear friend and wine extraordinaire, the one and only, Master Sommelier Claire Thevenot!
Claire will be on hand to help pour and talk all things Rhone, worth coming for alone, and far more professional than Lloyd…

The chef legends Stephen Terry and Tom Lodge, (master & the apprentice) will be joining forces again to bring us a 6 course Rhone inspired menu to accompany the wines!
