This feels like a very appropriate email to write whilst I sit in the sunshine with a glass in hand!
Definitely our most popular Rosé among staff and customers….The new 2025 vintage of Vol de Nuit has arrived!
The 2025 vintage is a blend of 63% Grenache and 24% Syrah for body and structure, 11% Vermentino and 2% Clariette for perfume and citrus freshness.
The vineyards, organically farmed since 2003, lie in the foothills the Mont Saint Victoire on a light clay, sandy soil on a sandstone bedrock. This terroir produces the classic style of this region with freshness, delicacy and elegance being to the fore, but with a complex vein running through the wine.
This is not a commercial, mass-produced marketing wine, but a lovingly created, hand sorted and naturally fermented classic made in tiny quantities!
We are pleased that this year Marc has made a little more wine, but quantities will still be limited so please get your orders in!… fingers crossed,we are in for an epic summer!
As always we will have it on by the glass…until we can’t!
