Domaine of the Bee New Releases!
Jun 04, 2026
We’ve just received the new releases of the Domaine of the Bee wines… of which you should all by now be familiar with! Longstanding favourites here at Chester’s! We took a little break from them last year, but they are back and tasting better than ever!

Lloyd fell in love with these wines many years ago and there’s a great story behind it…
This is part of the email we sent back in 2019!
"I first tasted these wines at London Wine Fair back in 2014.
I remember it very well, I was standing in the very busy "Esoteric" section on the upstairs balcony, as I do every year looking for unearthed gems! I got talking to Justin the winemaker (who is also a Master of Wine) and was thrilled to hear his story and taste through his range of wines.I think it was at this point that I fell in love with Grenache, it was a ,'first kiss' kinda moment....
I've often though about these wines since then, but never had the opportunity to see or re-taste again, they seemed to disappear off the radar...until now!
A few weeks back.....
I'm here again, London Wine Fair... Esoteric Section... Balcony... Hot...Too many people on a freebie/jolly, quickly getting fed up. About to leave (I'm a lot grumpier than I used to be)...
Suddenly, from the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a familiar looking label, could it Bee...(bad pun) IT WAS!
Moments later I pushed my way to the front & very excitedly told the lady 'i've been looking for you for years', she naturally looked shocked and most probably ready to reach for her pepper spray.
I meant the wines of course! After clearing that up I wasted no time in getting stuck into the wines, hoping desperately that they lived up to my memories, and you'll be glad to know, they did.
The white & rosé as classy as ever and the terrior focused, elegant red is thrilling, we love the exuberant Bee Side Grenache!
These are delightful wines, hand-made with passion, in small quantities and we cannot wait to share them with you!
