Klein Amoskuil 'Bok Amok' 2023
Swartland Grenache Noir planted on the farm in 2006. The fruit is hand harvested, de-stalked and naturally fermented in open top concrete fermenters, pressed, with only the free-run juice used, before spending between 10 and 12 months in old French oak. The nose hits you with wild red berries, candied raspberry, a touch of iron and a crack of black pepper.
Production is around 3,000 bottlesĀ (when the crop is not lost to the bok running amokā¦ Duiker appear to have a particular penchant for Swartland Grenacheā¦)
