Jose Gil 'Viñedos En San Vicente de la Sonsierra' 2024

A village wine made from fruit around San Vicente Village, Tempranillo & Garnacha and a small percentage of white varieties Viura & Garnacha Blanca.

This vintage sees the addition of another hectare of vineyards, three plots located at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountain range. One plot is planted with old vines near the village of Peciña, and the other two with Tempranillo, all in the La Canoca Valley. With this addition, we are further committed to raising the bar for our entry-level wine.

Perhaps a classic example of a grower getting to know his vineyards, one of the best Sonsierra I have tried out of the traps.
