Domaine Schoffit Rangen 'Clos Saint Theobald' Gewurztraminer
Rich gold in colour with green hues, extremely aromatic on the nose, honeysuckle & baked peach & in classic Gewurtz form, hints of rose.
An explosion on the palate soon follows, loaded with Lychee,White peach, citrus fruits, hints of white pepper & ginger, with a concentration rarely found in a wine. All this held together by a underlying lick of acidity.This wine is awesome now, and will get better over the next 20 years or so for sure!
