Meet Manu & Claudine!

Two fantastic value wines to load up for the summer months!

Hi Guys, Lloyd here! You may have seen on socials that Jo is working ‘really’ hard in the sunny South of France right now, not jealous at all.. Tuesday afternoons in Abergavenny with a coffee and pastry from the Angel Bakery will do me just right. WHO AM I KIDDING!

Anyway, back to the matter in hand. Finding wines that are well made, farmed using organic viticulture, that taste great and look great is becoming harder and harder for us, but fear not, they do exist, and with these 2 wines you can buy confidently and enjoy these very moreish, delicious wines! We tasted them recently and loved them, we are excited for them to arrive this week and thought we’d share a little info on them with you.

Claudine

Claudine, is a delightful blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Gros Manseng and Sauvignon Blanc from the Cotes du Gascony.

Scented like wild flowers and exotic fruits, held together by a chassis of bright energy and balanced acidity this gorgeous summer white wine to will have your thirst quenched from sip one, but, you will finish the bottle, faster than you planned…that’s why it’s important to have more to hand!

Manu

Manu, a fun guy! This is a juicy little Malbec form the Loire, however in this part of the world the variety is known as Cót. Manu is built for all occasions, fruit forward, loads of energy, the perfect summer vin de soif! The wine will even take a bit of chilling on really hot days if that’s how you roll, it’s how we roll for sure! bring on endless summer eve’s, bbq’s and lashings of Manu!
